THE DRIN, Dylan Mccartney's from The Serfs reductionist solo recording endeavor, now turn into a 6-7 piece live band of fucking chaos, has unleashed the huge dark post-punk power of "Down River in the Distance". An unexpected obcure paranoic masterpiece, where is also involved his Serfs' colleague Dakota Carlyle, that in Dylan's own words, "It's meant to be a cursed, degraded composition to accompany a forlorn journey along a river, with strange images just out of sight... like a dream".
